Stress and Burnout
In therapy for stress and burnout my goal is to help you build resilience: the ability to face life’s challenges without becoming overwhelmed, enraged, or collapsed. Together, we will explore how emotions manifest in the body and learn to release stored stress through mindful body awareness, grounding exercises, and body-based techniques such as breath-work and gentle movement.
Resilience is more than simply bouncing back from difficult situations, it’s about feeling free to know and feel your feelings without being consumed by intense emotional reactions or shutting down. In our work together, you will learn to respond to stress in a way that allows you to stay calm, grounded, and focused, even in challenging moments. You’ll develop the tools to manage stress and emotional overload, and to approach life’s ups and downs with greater confidence and inner strength.
Anxiety and Depression
If you’re wanting support facing anxiety and depression, we will work together to start to understand the root causes of your distress— whether stemming from past trauma, life stressors, or internalized patterns. Our work will go beyond managing symptoms: we’ll uncover the parts of yourself you may have forgotten, abandoned, or denied, and through acknowledgement and integration, you’ll become empowered to express every part in the context of a truly meaningful life. Together, we’ll work through the layers of emotional pain and tension, using a trauma-informed approach that considers how past experiences impact your present well-being. By listening to your body and developing greater awareness and emotional regulation, you’ll begin to find relief and strength to move forward onto a more hopeful path.
Embodiment
In this work, we’ll explore the profound connection between mind and body, recognizing that our physical sensations, emotions, and mental patterns are deeply interconnected. Whether you’re dealing with stress, emotional tension, or just a sense of disconnection, embodiment therapy will help you tune into your body’s messages. From there, we’ll work together to explore the emotions, sensations, and movements that may have been buried or ignored, and learn how to bring this awareness into your everyday life.
I specialize in helping women who are ready to reconnect with themselves, break free from old patterns, and step into a more embodied, authentic way of living. By becoming more attuned to your body and its messages, you’ll gain clarity about your needs, desires, and boundaries. This greater sense of self-awareness also enhances your ability to connect authentically with others, creating healthier relationships and improving your overall sense of well-being.
Spiritual Trauma
I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore the ways in which your spiritual experiences have shaped or wounded you. Through trauma-informed therapy, I help you process the emotional and physical effects of spiritual trauma, while helping you discover a more empowered and authentic relationship with yourself and your spirituality.
